Pink. pink, pink!

I am seeing pink but not in a 'slightly miffed at something way'; no, I'm not describing emotions, it's just that all my cards seem to have huge amounts of pink in them lately. My few pink Promarkers have been stretched to their limits. It's all about the challenges!

The first card is for the 'Baby, baby' challenge at Totally Tilda.

The brief was to use a Tilda baby stamp to make a card. I used Tilda in bunny slippers. The card blank is 15cm square white card with a mat of pink paper from the Paper Cellars Wedding pad. Tilda was matted onto a paper doily coloured with a Pastel Green Promarker and framed with a pink velvet frame from the Making Memories pitterpatter range. The seam binding, pin and lace are from the Ribbon Girl and the Magnolia die flowers are topped with leaves, flowers, stems and pearls from Hobbycrafts. I could blame the light quality but the card is so much more vivid IRL.(in real life)

Promarkers Used: Cool Gery 2, Ginger, Spice, Dusky Pink, Ivory, Blush, Antique Pink, Cocktail Pink, Satin, and Pastel Green.

The second card is for the 'Pink and Girly' challenge on  Do It With Digis.

Kiki is a lovely digi from Mo Manning, coloured with Promarkers. I made the 15cm square card blank and matted a slightly smaller square of  pink cardstock topped with two pieces of paper from the 'In my mind's eye' range. I made faux photograph corner mounts from the pink cardstock and a wee white pearl from Hobbycraft. The pink organza ribbon is from Crafts 4 U 2 Do, St Helens and the ribbon roses are from Hobbycraft. The sentiment is a glitter peel off from Papermania and the beads on the ribbon were recycled from our Christmas crackers.

Promarkers used: Ivory, Almond, Blush, Antique Pink, Rose Pink, Pastel Pink, Pear Green & Blender pen.

Once again I spent ages photographing this card but was unable to capture the full impact of the colours; they look too muted compared to those IRL.

It's Friday so I am off to Fir Tree Farm with Mum at lunchtime and then will stay with her while her central heating is seen to again.

Cheerio and have a great day,
